I need help on building a programming cable for the xts5000 motorola radio

I have a ht600 and I need to change the band with to a 403-470 and I have tried to do it with the rss but the rss will not let me. If any one can help me

I TOOK THE RADIO APART AND CLEAN THE FLEX CABLE AND REBOOTED THE PC WITH DOS 6.2 AND I NOW CAN READ AND PROGRAM MY HT1000
