That is if they will even sell them to you. Some of the firmware part numbers come up as available on my MOL account, and some come up as not in my catalog which means i don't have access to them. Don't know why, i did all the licensing paperwork when i got my MOL account.

I got a "New" HT1250 on ebay. When it came it was missing the labels. Turns out it is a used radio from Taiwan in a new case. Think I will get it back if I take it to a dealer?
So far as I know, it's the same upgrade software package for the North American & overseas radios...so the dealer should be able to upgrade the firmware.

Welcome to the club. I'd been had by a dealer like that too. He did such a poor job rehousing it that the O-ring seal was damaged and needed to be replaced, flex connections to the radio RF board were damaged, and the dumbass forgot to remove the protective display sticker from the inside of the housing.... But the radio works either way.
