RTX-4005B Part Question
I have an Motorola RTX-4005B with a broke Audio Out Rotary Switch (MX/MT/A/B/C). I am looking for the part number for this switch. I do not have the manual for this unit. Does the manual have a list of parts?

- What radios do you own?: Motorola, Icom, Sunair (HF).
Alternate sources
When I built my home-brew version of the RLN4460, I bought just about all the necessary parts from DigiKey, including some very nice, sealed rotary switches by C&K (now ITT/Cannon).
As long as you match the internal configuration, mounting hole size, and respect the internal dimensions of the test set, you shouldn't have any trouble replacing that switch from non-Moto sources. Probably run you no more than $10 or so for the switch itself.
Happy hunting.
