Stupid question? How do I ID a Bravo Plus?
I have 2 pagers, I think they are Bravo plus but I'm not sure. How can I tell?
They look like the old Bravos (that I remember from the early 1990s) but with slightly rounded edges. Are any/all Bravo Plus FLEX?
Thanks

Looks like they both have 7 digit numeric capcodes printed on the case, so I can safely assume they are POCSAG not FLEX?
Here's a picture. I have 2. one is 929 and one is 931 mhz. Note the programming contacts are 3 pieces of tin, not the normal PCB traces or pads.
Otherwise it looks pretty much like an old Bravo. How do I know this isn't a "bravo classic" or some other bravo?

I thought FLEX capcodes always started with a letter?Johnny Galaga wrote:Actually, FLEX can have either 7 or 9 digit capcodes.EEnerd wrote:Looks like they both have 7 digit numeric capcodes printed on the case, so I can safely assume they are POCSAG not FLEX?

IIRC the Bravo Plus was never made in a FLEX model.
End of story. Concurrence, TPG?
3 programming tabs = Bravo or Lifestyle Plus. POCSAG Only.
Only difference between the two, Bravo was black, Lifestyle had different colors. All the same program...
hehehe... that took awhile!
