Curious if anyone has any information on the use of NAC/NID of "000". I was told that this might be usable as an equivalent of DCSQ, but will allow the passing of a radio's unit ID. Could the use of this NAC/NID depend on radio model (i.e., Astro Saber, XTS3000, XTS5000)???
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
Steve

NAC "000" Use in XTS3000
Hello MattSR!
I was curious if this (Host/DSP version)was the "culprit"!!! I have an Astro Saber, XTS3000, and an XTS5000 all programmed with a simplex frequency with a Rx NAC of "000". The XTS5k's hear each other fine - the Astro Saber and XTS3k do not unmute...

Yes, i'm not 100% on the firmware version, but I know you definitely need CPS V5.01.00 to do it..
