MTX Scan

Post by arlojanis »

I have a MTX8000 that was trunked and conventional. I did not try the scan before reprogramming. I deleted all but one trunk system and added several conventional channels. The radio shows to be scanning, but does not stop on busy channels. I set up the scan list and all looks good. What did I miss?

It could be just scanning the trunked system (if it is even an active one in your area).

In the frequency programming screen, did you select it to use the same scan list that you created? (and check each channel).
