I would like to know how to build a cross band repeater using two CDM 1550's VHF/UHF if this is even possible evrything I would need and if I can even do it. I want to be able to have it in a car so when I work with the next town over who is on a UHF frequency with our VHF frequency for a fireground channel so where all on the same page.

- What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's
Re: Motorola CDM Cross Band Repeater
that's very simple, you will need a rick box or some kind of interface and i'd go with 2 separate antennaes since it's 2 different bands.

most motorola shops will be able to get you a rick or do a search on ebay or ask on the for sale page here? you definately need a bi-directional interface
