Motorola CDM Cross Band Repeater

I would like to know how to build a cross band repeater using two CDM 1550's VHF/UHF if this is even possible evrything I would need and if I can even do it. I want to be able to have it in a car so when I work with the next town over who is on a UHF frequency with our VHF frequency for a fireground channel so where all on the same page.

that's very simple, you will need a rick box or some kind of interface and i'd go with 2 separate antennaes since it's 2 different bands.

most motorola shops will be able to get you a rick or do a search on ebay or ask on the for sale page here? you definately need a bi-directional interface

I would like to thank everyone that helped with the info that you gave me I felt with all the help i recieved why not let everyone know how I made out. I purchased an adaptor from a store on ebay I have it hooked to both CDM 1550ls+ radios mounted in the console of my vehicle I was able to still use the speaker feeds + and - for audio to my Knox Box as well as Ignition sense leads with the adaptors plug the radio's and cross band repeat works great and I am very happy with th install.
