Motorola CP200 CPS litriture help

greetings all

i am looking for Litriture only on how to program the CP200 series radios

i am not looking for the CPS software to do it i just want to view the working notes of how to use the software

if anybody can help with this it would be much appreciated

This will be a fun catch-22 because the literature is in the help file, which comes with CPS. So you will need to buy CPS from Motorola in order to get the help file if you don't already have CPS

the help folder is there but is a little above my head as i am not into the radio gear

the reason i bought the radios was to use in a race team & i bought the software thinking that i could do it myself but as i said it is above me

that is why i am looking for some simple instructions or somebody who can help me with it

i have worked out that i have to add the extra channels as the radio's only come with the 1 channel pre programend

what i carnt get my head around is the privacy part

how do i set the tone to open the other radio to allow it to receive, i know the section in the CPS but dont know what to input in there

it would be so much easier for me to take this to a radio dealer but i am unable to find anybody here in Australia who does this for the CP200 radios

all i am wanting to do is programe these to use with our race car
