Motorola Spectra control head problem.

Post by cahighwayman22 »

I've got an A7 Spectra control head that has a bright display, however the transmit light blinks when I power the radio up. I know about the 2 different interconnect boards that these radios came with during their production time, I have both (Unmodified HLN 6066B and a modified one that follows the diagram seen on the blenderman website) and it doesn't seem to cure the problem. What could be the cause?

It's Conventional 900MHz radio...and all the leaky caps have been replaced in the radio except for the control head.

The two caps in the control head go bad too. Try replacing them.

Ok, I fixed it, yes it was the caps.
