I need to put a remote on a XTL2500 trunked radio that has a standard headset interface like the console. Anyone know right off if any of the MC series has this ability? If not, any other ideas other than cobbling one together? I can do Tone, DC or local control with the radio adaptors I have but the desktop has to be a out of the box solution.
Thanks !
Dave

Re: MC Series remote Q..
They do not...you'd have to do what you want to avoid, and cobble something together using the desk mic port, and bringing out the speaker leads to it as well.MSS-Dave wrote:I need to put a remote on a XTL2500 trunked radio that has a standard headset interface like the console. A quick check of Zetron's site shows their 280/284 series tone remotes as having:
"Accessory audio interface port accommodates external desk mic, PTT footswitch, headset, auxiliary transmit audio, and external powered speaker"
So that might work for you.
