MTS2000 Fail 001 within its band

Post by NSPD »

Hi guys... I have an MTS2000 Model I 403-470 (H01RDD9PW1BN) that I purchased with the intent of using it with my VRS for ham purposes, which I have set to a 2.5khz 423mhz frequency. The firmware is R05.53.

I have almost no RX down at the VRS frequency, and "F001" on transmit. The VRS frequency is well-within the rated bandsplit of the radio. Radio works just fine in the 440-470 range.

Any ideas? Possibly just an alignment needed?

It could be the VCO crossover setting(s) are not correct for the RF board version.
