I try RSS for Saber v R07.00 and RSS for MX1000 v R.02.00... its no go((( At first i get a message from RSS " ..Unrecognazeable core or serial bus error" and for MX1000 RSS i have:
- If connected only RIB: "Radio is not connected";
- if connected RIB and Radio: "RIB is not responding".

1) Can you get the proper RSS for European SABER/MX?
2) Make sure you are using the recommended SLOW 386/486 IBM PC to program.
3) Check your connections and power to the RIB as well as COM port selection.
4) I found that if certain files in the RSS were archived-write protected, a comm failure resulted.

Failing this:
I don't know if this will work, so YMMV, but you might be able to create an entirely new codeplug under US Market RSS and force feed the radio. Try a minimal single channel codeplug with a US model that resembles yours, then go right to programming without reading. I have done this to change models, and I assume the hardware in your radio is same as US market radio. Please don't flame me if it bricks it.
