I do. One of the best tools for working on the interior of new cars. I have gotten those same responses. I just ordered another one since mine got broke. Found out they aren't meant to try to lift a manhole cover with. :D

I don't even see that many vehicle manufacturers use that style of fastener anymore.

Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"

Jim, I use mine all the time. The fastener that holds the dome light in on the ford PI. The trim plugs on the back deck, headliner , trunk mat and the door trim..

We have an older one that is spring loaded almost looks like a pair of small grass clippers. It has the nickname" sn@tch tool" for those in the medical profession you know what im getting at.....

Oh, is that for those stupid plastic friction push-in annoying fasteners? I hate those damn things, I think entire vehicles are assembled with those sometimes.

The interior pretty much is made up of these plastic pins. I know on a daily basis, I probably pop out 5-10 of these things. The panel popper is also good for lifting the plastic running rail up or releasing the snap clips that are behind most of the plastic trim.

Hmm. I am picturing taking a small chisle and attacking it with a dremel tool. Instant free panel popper. :)
