DRL and Wig-Wags on an Impala
One of my friends just got a newer model Impala with Daytime Running Headlights. He wants to put a wig-wag flasher on it. I know I have seen a thread somewhere about how to do this, can someone point me in that direction or help me out.
Thanks,
Nick

I'm not positive but I think the UHF2150B Impala flasher requires that you have the police package. If not, I think maybe you have to cut one of the wire and splice it yourself. Something like that.

unless it is a Police package unit i would not do it. it i can cause all typs of problems with the computer and stuff.
The Sound-Off/Whelen (made by Sound-Off, whether you want to believe this or not) works just fine on non-police Impalas. You won't screw up any computers or such. The big difference between civilian and 9C1 cars is that 9C1 has an OEM disconnect and a pre-wired powerup lead pair into the car.
So...
... has anyone put the plug'n'play in a non-police package? Did it screw up the computer?
