Does the DeskTrac require special RSS? Can anyone please give me any other info? Didn't see much reference to it on the BatLabs site.

TIA

Hi:

If you desire accessing all the features
of the Desktrac, you will need the Desktrac
SW Ver 3.04.00 or higher.

If all you want to do is change freq, you
can do that with Maxtrac Software, but
yo have to access the radio direct to do
it.

Thanks Monty...

Thought it may be accessible with MaxTrac RSS. So it's just a MaxTrac in a fancy box?

Monte, you forgot to mention the three position switch on the front panel below the local builtin mic to switch between the two radios and the remote adapter's programming ports.
Use the Maxtrac RSS thru the mic jack on the front panel of the DeskTrac and use the switch to select which radio chassis to read and program.
