Specta HHCH Scan question

Post by BikerScout »

I have a Spectra A3 that when I put it in scan the display flashes OL and does not scan.
Scan OFF HUB is enabled.
Also, HUB Switch is Disabled.
Radio is a D43KMA7JA3BK and CH is a HCN1053A.

Don't have my manual available to look at. Let me ask a question here, did you set up a scan list in the RSS and load it back to the radio?

I forget what the OL means right now.

Is this one of the government dual radio setups with the serial interface unit (SIU) between the radio and the control head?

The radio was read via RSS and modes added. A scan list was set-up and loaded into the radio via RSS. The programming was done by Radio Shop. Didn't notice the OL or DL until I got home.
No SIU unit is being used with this radio. Just the Radio box and a HHCH plugged into the front DB25 connector.

Common Problem

Post by txshooter »

I had one that was tempermental. Check the programming to make sure that it is not programmed to have a siren unit connected. This was the original problem with mine.

Good luck
