MTX8000 CODEPLUG ISSUE

Post by emtprt »

I picked up a used MTX8000 model H01UCCGDBAN which alows type II trunking and 16 coventional channels with out MDC.

I was able to get a code-plug from a H01RDD9PW1BN code-plug to work in the radio. The problem is the newer code-plug looks for a display and is designed for a 160 channel radio.

I would like to find a code-plug for a 16 Conv. Channel radio that allows MDC and scan to work.

Any suggestions or ideas would be a great help

Thanks

You messed up your model number! I assume you mean you have a B3 radio (no display). If you want, email me your existing codeplug and it shall be MDC'ified. [email protected]

Am I reading this right? You took a UHF codeplug and blew it into an 800 MHz radio and it worked?

I'm confused.
