GP-2000 DTMF stopped working?

Post by kato56 »

When transmitting and manually pressing a digit on the front panel. the DTMF tones are not being transmitted. This used to work... Did I somehow disable this feature in the programming somehow without knowing?

Thanks

The manual DTMF should normally always work on transmit, I don't have it tied to any sort of signaling, PTT-ID, etc. Like my Jedi radios, I have the ability to either enable the dtmf in each personality, but since I hardly use this radio, I can't remember if the dtmf generation was tied to another option that I might have turned off recently.

GP-2000 dtmf problem - resolved

Post by kato56 »

I found out what the problem was.
I found the "dtmf tx tone duration" set to 25 milliseconds. Should have been around 200 ms or more.
