in the CPS I used the rick tx and Rx settings for the assec. pins

does everything look right? what is missing

each radio tx and rx fine when working independantly

RICK DIPS are correct.

Redo Mobile Programming:
Radio Configuration Menu>Accessory Pins Tab

Default Rick Settings ARE WRONG. Change to DEFAULT and program as follows:

Accessory Pins for Receiver Radio:
Pin 3 = External Mic PTT (Input) Ative Level LOW with debounce checked
Pin 14 = PL and CSQ Detect (Output) Active LOW without debounce

Accessory Pins for Transmitter:
Pin 3 = External Mic PTT (Input) Ative Level LOW with debounce checked
Pin 8 = PL and CSQ Detect (Output) Active LOW without debounce

Now Check Accessory Configuration FOR BOTH RADIOS:
Debounce Duration = 100
RX Audio Type = Filtered
Ext PTT Audio Source = Ext Mic Audio

good luck
