M1225/P1225

Post by funsun71 »

If I recall correctly, the early versions of these radios were either wide or narrow and not programmable on a per channel basis. Later versions were programmable on a per channel basis. Can anybody confirm this is the case, and if so, how to tell difference?

The "1225" does both 25 khz and 12.5 khz channel spacing.

Every one I ever touched had the bandwidth programmable per channel. I do not recall a global setting for narrow or wide. I have no way to confirm the earliest versions were otherwise.
