Walka Talka Frequencies

Does anyone know what frequencies the Motorola Walka Talka radios work on?

further to that everytime i try and read the radio a dialoge box appears and states;
"Astro saber, Ptr field 5003 reference block will absolute ID 52 and that address has type value which resolves to absolute ID 53 Unpack failed"

Anyone know how i can fix it???

URGENT FAIL 01/92?????

Can anyone help.....what does FAIL 01/92 mean when you turn your radio on and can it be fixed???????
I was programming my radio yesterday and my computer froze and it stuff up

Yeah they are the same apart from the Jedi PSM Public Saftey Mic....we had to learn it the hard way.
We were told by Motorola that the Jedi PSM were compatible with the XTS3000 but it never worked so we had to sell over 100 Jedi PSMs for a reduced price to little businesses.

By the way how will i be ab;e to find out an exisiting DES/DVP code???? is there some way i can put a common code which decrypts them all or is there any other way????

Can anyone explain DES/DVP/ASTRO???

I have a radio with DVP/DES/ASTRO installed i have not been able to figure out hout to set it.
Do i need a certain encryption key or something as i have accidentally deleted it when i pressed the emergency button and another button at the same time.
I was wondering if someone could explain it to me ...

I have the exact same problem...i'm not just saying sh#t either,
I bought a new MCS2000 and had it programmed by the Motorola dealer and they f#cked it up and they wanted me to pay for it to be programmed again.... so i told them where they can shove it and now i have a radio programmed with ...

Unfortunatley your right only a ASTRO signal is a 4 level FSK signal can be detected by a ASTRO signal is a 4 level FSK signal repeater and hence can only be used in conjunction with each other....the other problem will need a data-compatible repeater to repeat IMBE or Securenet ids and changing ...
