What radios do you own?: Motorola, Icom, Sunair (HF).

Good luck. Motorola did not make schematics of that particular unit available that I know of. Even if they did, the SmartRIBs are far more complex than their regular brethren, and they use a proprietary ASIC as well. If the problem happens to be within that ASIC, you're sunk.

My advice would be to send it to the Motorola test equipment repair depot. I think the flat rate is $160 or so.

Keep the peace(es).

I have the manual with schematics around here somewhere. I will look for it this evening. I also have a bad smart rib that I paid $25 for. I will sell it for the same plus shipping.

To those that I promised a scan of the schematic, The manual has escaped from my manual cabinet. If I find it I will scan the schematic. If the part number referenced by xmo is still available that would be the way to go.

I found a manual at work and I made a few copies of the schematic, parts layout, and parts list.

The schematic is to large to scan so if four people need this info PM me and I will tell you where to send a self addressed STAMPED envelope.
