AS3 (nick special) MDC ID decode issue

Post by clavo »

I searched for this and didn't find any answers.

I have a AS3 with the most recent 'nick flash' and I believe I programmed it wrong.

It will not decode MDC IDs unless the monitor button is held down when the burst is sent. Then it decodes fine. Let go of the monitor button and it doesn't decode.

I'm sure this is a simple fix. Any help here?

What radios do you own?: Motorola, GE

Do you have Data Operated Squelch (DOS) enabled? I have seen this cause the radio not to display MDC ID's. The DOS tab can be found under the individual MDC system or systems you have defined in CPS.

Also try knocking the RX unmute delay down to 0.
