MPL Feature

I’m curious as to which Motorola radios have the MPL feature. The ones that I know of which have this feature are the Spectras and Sabers. I can't think of any others. Are these the only radios that offered MPL? Do any newer models have this feature or something similar? Seems like I read somewhere that the XTS series has MPL.

The MTS2000 with the correct flash will do MPL, and quite nicely. The MT-2000 will NOT do MPL, even though it shows it in the RSS.

With the MPL feature it will only change the RX MPL tone no the TX?

Maratrac A7 8 MPL's

Syntor X9000 will do 16 MPLs out of the box, 32 with the "correct" RSS.

Will, are you sure the Maratrac will only do 8? I thought it would do 16, but I could very well be wrong.

The JT1000s also do MPL and both the TX & RX codes change.

Of the XTS series radios, I think it's the "model III" radios that have the MPL feature. To my knowledge the "model II" radios do not. Can anyone confirm?

Only 8 MPL's on the Maratrac.

It can be set for None, RX, TX, or RX&TX on a per channel basis in Maratrac and Spectra.
