Re: MotoTRBO. You saw it here first!!!!

Hi k5rpd, I am working on a data app using the MotoTRBO radios. Lots of network sniffing involved. Motorola wants me to send them a demo before letting me in the MotoTRBO developer program. Kind of a catch-22, can't create a proper app without being in the program, but I can't get into the program ...

Re: Waiting On approval from Motorola

I got my account finally setup last night. What a pain, too many departments that the setup process has to go thru. In the end, there was someone named Dan in the phone order department that bent over backward to make sure my account was setup. He went so far as to call me back on a conference call ...

Re: MotoTRBO. You saw it here first!!!!

Anyone know when the 470Mhz upper limit is going to be raised? Many of the local fire departments here are in the 473-478Mhz range. Was there a specific reason they stopped at 470?

Re: Waiting On approval from Motorola

Thanks for the help. I setup the account and signed the agreement (took from friday to monday). For some reason, signing the agreement didn't generate the support case that it was supposed to. I should be setup today.

Thanks again,
Joe

Re: MotoTRBO analog mode

Thanks for the info Wayne. I just checked the config on the HT-1250's and they are using MDC signaling. I am assuming the mobiles (XPR4550) also support MDC signaling. Now, if Motorola would just add a remote mount head kit for the XPR4550 mobiles, I'd be all set.

MotoTRBO analog mode

I have a system that has numerous HT1250 radios. We are slowly going to move to MotoTRBO radios, but we will be running in analog mode until all of the radios are switched. Will the MotoTRBO radios be able to encode/decode QuickCall II or MDC-1200 information in analog mode? I would like to be able ...

Re: Waiting On approval from Motorola

Thanks,
Joe

Re: Motorola Minitor 6

I'd love to see one with a text display on it. That way call details (street address, call type, etc.) could show up right on the pager.

Question about MotoTRBO

I was wondering if anyone knows the answers to the following MotoTRBO questions. Any help would be appreciated.
1) If I am currently on an analog channel, can a MotoTRBO radio still transmit and/or receive text messages or location information on a digital channel?
2) Can 2 radios send and receive ...
