Problem turned out to be a bad SB-3 button! I reversed the squelch to SB-2; now it works fine! left SB-3 "unprogrammed" & the bule button on top is for the light! thanks for all those who helped me out! Ed

I have an x9000 100w. On a Daiwa RS-300 (30 amp from Tucker Electronics) It draws 18 amps on the meter. 17.5amps on an Astron.
