P50 Low Band Portable Antenna Part Number ?

I have two P50's on 48mHz and the wrong antennas are on the units. Does anyone have the correct low band antenna part number?

Greatly appreciated!

PS: Is the threaded ¼-32 x 3/16" ring "hot" or should the correct antenna make contact to the jack below the ring on low band models :D ?

Many thanks Haydn!

I think it is the Super-Duty as it is 4wd, gasoline as it hauls 600 gallons of water in addition to all the pumps and onboard gear. It is a BIG dual rear tire engine. I will get the model in a few minutes as the vehicle is on its way over. Will the line stand a 4 amp load?

Speaker Felt Gluing ?

Hay guys,

During radio case refurbs one needs to somehow glue the replacement felt to the inside of the new case. Motorola does such a nice flat factory job.

What is the appropiate glue to use that will not impede the acoustics?

What does Monty use? Will he tell?

I have a AAH25RDG9AA4AN and could not match it correctly in the Batlabs charts.

Could someone tell me what it is? Has a full keypad without the display. 16 Channel. 3 buttons only above the keypad.

What is main difference between the 750 and the 1250 and which is this?

Combining TX Antennas - Ferite ?

Our FD built a portable comm center - It consists of 3 VHF M1225 20 channel radios configured as three ac & standby powered bases.

The only hitch is having 3 antennas. One antenna would be nice.

So we thought since cavities would be too big, perhaps we could program the acc connector on the M1225 ...

2 Tone Board

Nand,

Top of the afternoon to you!

I was speaking with Monty who suggested that an upgradt to the 1225 would eliminate the board option. Makes me think....

This is getting difficult. The FD NEEDS the page option as all 5 FD's are dispatched from one 911 center - each with a different page.

Most will not - I used to actually tune these guys up as a boy. They were quite good actually, very loud and had a unique squelch tail. . All you needed was a 0-50 microamp meter and a diddlestick and it was "programmed"!

This is one of the rare AC powered ones!

RX PL Enable M1225

I noticed that the mic back needs a short, via mic hang up clip, to enable rx PL and scan, etc. Is this addressable via software? Will programming the unit as a "handset" allow the rx to stay in the PL enabled mode all the time?

Cheers
