Re: Ebay Repeater Interface Cables????

Ok, I think I have the same cable.

I'm trying to use 2 M1225's to set it up.

My understanding is that I don't need to program the pins on the TX radio just the RX with the 3 pin's mentioned above.

Anything else I'm missing?

Any help or input would be great.

Re: DTR 550 and DTR 650 service issues

Thank you so much....

There are a few parts available...such as new lenses, and housings.

I want to just order up the lenses but I'm not sure if they pop off or if they are secured from the inside of the housing?

Thanks again for the fast response.

DTR 550 and DTR 650 service issues

Hello to all: I have a client that needs to do some simple service to their DTR550's and 650's. Mainly they just need new housings or new lenses. Does anyone have any suggestions on servicing these units? Does the lens just pop off or do I need to remove the back plate? Also what size bit is needed ...

Re: GR/RKR1225 repeaters going NLA...

Well we still have the CDR series. It is not a great desktop but it will have to do. My guess is that Motorola is getting anxious about the Kenwood line of digital repeaters so they want to capture the market before kenwood.

I just heard the new today and was thrown back by it as well.
