Dell Com Port stopped working
We have been using a Dell Latitude for programming out CDM-1250's and minitor pagers. The laptop recently went in and had the operating system removed and reinstaled (win xp). The motorola software was the first and only software to be reloaded after installing XP. Now, I cannot seem to read or ...

Park or NSS circuit in '93 GMC
Searched, but could not find...
Does anybody know where I can find a park circuit or neutral safety circuit and wire colors on a 1993 GMC truck?
I am installing an opticom, and am looking for a signal to energize a relay to disengage the opticom and the other white lights.
Thanks
-Sonny

Something our department did for our ht750s was to take a piece of 3M scotchlite and run it through a laser printer. In the settings, choose a paper type that pulls the paper through slow for best results. We got pertty creative. "Watermarked" in the background was the apparatus number in a real ...

Okay,
I definetly understand that a a receiver will desense when a transmitter is working near by. But, would it still be able to pick up a 5 watt HT that is no more than 500 feet away? That might be a dumb question, but I really dont know. When we are operating in that mode, we are only trying to ...

We are also thinking about installing a second radio, but I know we have not thought of the interference issues yet. We plan on using 1 VHF 45 watt CDM1550 and one 45 watt GM300. Worst case scenerio would be 730 KHz separation, best case 955 KHz. 1/4 wave antenna separation would be 5 feet (on a ...

HT750 DOS Problem
Greetings-
I have a bunch of HT-750s and a bunch of CDM 1250s. I set my DOS auto mute on the CDM to 175. Everything works fine (the mdc on the ht750 is set to pre, with 100 pretime). The CDM mutes and IDs fine. Everything works great. However, I cannot get the HT750 to mute the mdc. No mater how ...

CDM1250 display symbol question
Quick question.
I have a CDM1250 with about 30 channels programmed in to it. Some of them have a symbol that looks like to vertical bars with an arrow in between them pointing to the right. What does this mean? I looked at the programing of the channels that have it and the ones that dont and ...

Another question:
I was playing around with the ht1000 rss today and started looking at the QCII settings. All of our Minitor 2 pagers have tone frequencies of 701.0 and 1669.0. Why on the ht1000 can I only select 697.5 and 707.3, but not 701? I have Motorola "permacode active filters" that say 701 ...

We tried this same thing for a while. The only other potential problem is the possibility of not being in quarters when the door goes up. Interface handset to CDM1250
I am trying to interface a "telephone style handset" (p/n RLN4756A) to the accessory port of the CDM 1250. The accy port provides floating spkr+ and spkr- pins. As far as I know, the handset has a common ground, mic high, ptt, and handset audio. I have all working except the handset audio.
