The EF Johnson 5100's with FPP won't allow FPP outside of the government or ham bands. Or I just haven't figure it out yet which I doubt.

Only solution I know of that you can look at is the Raytheon P25 Channel Controller, supposed to work with existing base stations to add the P25 features onto legacy base stations. Don't know all the details just the product exists. Don't figure it's cheap by any means.

This would be fairly straightfoward for someone familiar with PIC development to provide a low chip count solution similar to the NHRC repeater controllers. Maybe an untapped market? Just a thought.

All of the inner edge bars I've installed come with the TIR3 and LIN3 reflectors in the kit if that is what has you worried. Your choice as to which you install. I think all of ours came with the TIR3 installed from the factory. Just a matter of switching the lens/reflector assemblies out.
